I'm reupholstering the interior with a more modern take on the classic TR7 tartan!
It works well with the Tahiti blue body colour

This side of the pond we got the early bright coloured tartans

Tartan is VW GTE
and yes I know grab handle wrong way - it was a quick fit to check how it looks. Electric windows to be fitted

It's one of those things that when you think you know the right way they go, put them on the other way and you'll be right.....like the head restraints.

I have seen several press release pictures where these were fitted the wrong way around

Looks like it matches the cars paint work quite nicely!
But as you can see in my signature I firmly believe that the interior should contrast with the car's colour

Did you have the carpets specially made?

carpets are from Coverdale and they do a range of colours and varying qualities

Are the edges on yours bound in vinyl or wool?

How easy did the old covering come off? ( I intend re-covering , but Tartan free, with ashtray and the ridiculous little light deleted)
