There is no interior or glass and one door is removed but the engine and gear box are still fitted.

Looking at it, mine just sit rather high too, maybe the same as yours though I have everything in my car.

I have the uprated shorter red springs from Robsport, Is it just that the springs are too hard?

That also is a fair amount of weight that's been removed from the car (both seats together is over 25 kg for instance)
Also suspension refitted with new parts can settle a bit over the first few driven miles, depending how everything was fitted

My car got everything new at the front couple of years ago and it was like a monster truck at the beginning

Yeah that was a photo just after i did the front end.

I just realized i don't tend to take any pictures of the car side on ( strange !! )

Am liking the photos.....

I have Robsport's uprated slightly lowered springs and bearing conversion.

The wheel arch to hub centre distance on mine is 34cm at the front, 32cm at the back.

I'm sure mine will come down a little with use but it would be nice to match the height at the rear.

Were the suspension fastenings fully torqued up after the car's weight was back on tyres?

I have measured mine now and the front is 39cm and the rear at 33.5cm

The fittings are tight but will need a full check once the body work is completed.

I only tighten the suspension when the full weight of the car is in it so as not to induce load in any bushings,Steve..

Possibly loosening the bolts on the track control arms and anti roll bar bushes on axle stands, then torquing them up with the weight on the tyres would release some stiction and lower the front.

5cm would be a lot of stiction though.
