Compomotive CX possibly........

Compomotive Alley cats look similar but fewer spokes? Some photos on the net have both designs listed as each other which doesn't help. I wouldn't want to be cleaning them on a regular basis.

 aside from the redness (now slightly orangeness) that was one of the reasons I replaced them with mini lites!!

I have emailed Compo directly the CX is close but different centre shape.

I’ll let you know what they say

Impressive service from Compomotive, I got a reply this morning from Barry:

These look like 14” CX1463’s from the late 1980’s ...

Yes we did offer that specification at that time

Looking good after 30 years I would say!

They are going to have to be sold to fund more welding supplies. I need to decide on what they are worth. 3 are in prefect condition aside from the faded paint, one has a very small amount of corrosion maybe the size of a 10p piece and a couple of spots in the same vicinity watch the for sale area or make me a sensible offer.

The tyres are virtually unused Kumhos and have been dark stored for pretty much all their lives, however they do appear to be date stamped 2005.

Can't help with the name but would be interested to know. I got a set given to me without the paint for free (A guy I had bought some used parts from gave them to me. They came off a Lotus. Came in handy when I removed the rear axle, just rolled it out with them on, no tires.
