MX5 & LS400 Engine Conversions

Postby busheytrader » 24 Jun 2018 14:58

I may be late seeing this, but as someone who converted their own wedge to V8 (courtesy of S & S kit back in 1991) I can follow the sentiment.

We had a Mk2.5 MX5 1.8iS a few years ago and a Mk3 launch model is my current daily driver. Both engines like being revved. :D

The Lexus 400 engine option looks like fun. How long before someone develops a performance electric motor / battery combo for the wedge? EV's will come eventually......

Electric power has no place in classic cars (unless of course, they were electric, to begin with.....can't think of any myself) it would defeat the whole purpose of classic cars.
