I know the car well and it belonged to Mark Cox (TR7 enthusiast) - once the little problems are sorted then I think you have got a great car … enjoy!

Not famous, just known within the TR Drivers Club, as Chris said "belonged to Mark Cox"

Folks!!

I've finally got my 7 back!! Except the clutch is really noisy and heavy!! Is this unusual or not?!!

Folks how do you attach pictures that are not too large?!!

Not really.
When is it noisy? Tends to suggest the release bearing on its way.

Folks!!

I've just read in the pc classics book of cars of the 70s they gave the tr7 a right slating and an assination!! How rude!! They said it went from being "a triumph to a disaster" charming!! And besides the tr7 being a crap car (which it isn't!!) It is incredibly rude and offensive!!Some of things they said about it are too hurtful too repeat!!! :cry:

You'll learn to live with it :mrgreen:
When I bought my first TR7 in 1988 I was refused membership of the TR Club Holland because it wasn't a real Triumph TR :shock:

Used to be a bit like that in Oz a few years back. These days, apart from the side curtain crowd Many who have earlier TRs now have a 7 as well.
