Having dissed our cars a couple of issues ago, this month Octane magazine features an entry into the Roger Albert Clark rally by EAT400T and Harris Mann appears on the Gearbox page where he lists nine things he likes.
A welcome turn around indeed!

I put them in touch with Harris but only after giving them a serious check about what they wanted. Also that they weren't going to be doing further damage to the reputation of my favourite car. As it happened the journalist doing it was freelance and was extremely embarrassed when I read the offending section from the recent issue to him. I still need to be very careful with that magazine in future if they get in touch as I doubt anything much has changed yet.

John, that seems to be the problem, Octane hid behind the argument that they have a broad spectrum of opinion and that all opinions were welcome regardless of the offence or insult that they might cause.
I doubt that the journalist with the painfully narrowminded views had his knuckles rapped for his outburst, but I have been reasonably impressed with the subsequent coverage in Octane of our cars which if he has a brain would cause him to realise his paymasters might disagree with him. I doubt however though that he has a brain.

I think the driver of EAT400T Phillip Young is a regular contributor.
I think the watering can designed by Harris, and mentioned on his page is a classic dateless design.
