Hi JT, welcome to the site!
It would be very cool if you could re-unite with your old car (I also have a couple of cars that I 'd love to see/repurchase again myself, and have such a request thread on another site)
One thing that would always help is copy/scanning a couple of pics and perhaps a little history of where the car was last seen ect .....
Plate numbers are one thing, but as often happens things get changed/lost over the years , not to mention that a example; " a red Tr7 coupe with back stripes and aftermarket sunroof....." is a lot easier to spot than a single plate number!

it is not on sorn it it on the road
tax expires 01.11.12
But this is strange "NO MYK270P is NOT showing as insured on the Motor Insurance Database today."

Well I've looked again and I am still right.
The SORN on this vehicle expires on 01/11/12, it states lower down SORN NOT DUE, SORN declaration only lasts 12 month, if the vehicle was taxed it would state LICENSE NOT DUE.
As it is SORN'd it does not have to be insured therefore it does not show up on the database.

I think its Phil Humphries old fixed head, he did a series of articles in the TR Driver magazine a few years ago.

Happy 40th Birthday (registered today 1st June 1976) to MYK 270P - this car is now in the hands of a TR7 enthuiast in Staffordshire who hopes to breathe life back into the old girl.
