Topic 2 - MOT ad other stuff

Ok Mot due on Thursday so I needed to put the car together today. Rear lamp clusters fitted, but oh no [:0]the left hand side lamps dont work - they did before. After a hurried examination looks like the problem was a very old fuse and dirty contacts, replace with new and it seems ok.

Refitted the rear fog lamps, but they are not the same. Both are the original Cibie with the original brackets, but one is tight to the rear bumper, the other has a gap of around 10mm. I am sure the brakets are identical. anyone else seen this?

Tested the horns, I think only one weedy one works, hope this is ok for the MOT.

With an MOT this only leaves the paintwork to be sorted, an MOT and tax means I can drive the car to get quotes, the financial controller[:(] still thinks I should do it - I am working on this[;)]

I am a bit worried by a smell of petrol where the fuel line goes under the floor, cannot see anything though.
