accelerator cable

Postby Johnluss » 13 Aug 2010 01:04

I will be replacing my accelerator cable. It lasted only two years.
I don't know why. I had installed it with long curves. Any special tips for the new one?
Thanks

Make sure it is in a straight line at the working ends (bulkhead and carburettor linkage.
Check the end of the outer cable for sharp edges.
