Triumph TSBs?

Postby Gubi » 07 Aug 2010 17:53

Did Triumph ever publish any TSBs for the TR7, and are they available anywhere? I've got a full set for the Alfas and have found them an invaluable addition to the service manual.

Just curious.

I bought an original TSB book off of eBay last year...it listed them for the TR7 and for Jaguars all in one book. I just thought it was interesting, and don't remember anything major listed within it for our cars.

Technical Service Bulletin. It's a technical memo to dealers from the manufacturer covering service issues that have been uncovered.

[edit]
I seem to recall seeing TSBs regarding fitting correct replacement thermostats, checking seatbelts and head bolt/stud torques.

Memory of these is getting fuzzy so I must be turning into an old fart.

[:)] For me, a TSB was always a Toy Sailing Boat.

Had some great fun making and playing with 2 ft model skiffs in my teens

Don't go giving your self airs, & graces you are not entitled to you young whipper snipper Marsu.

You have quite a bit of ageing, [& learning], to do before you can lay claim to the grand & exalted title of "old fart".

You are not even approaching the minor title of "silly old bugger" yet.

You as a not too young fellow Ozzie would know the silly old bugger title has to be bestowed by the old bodgie, [& former PM] Bob Hawke, one who really can claim to be an old fart these days..
