Here I go again

OK, seems I have gone and bought another TR7 DHC. The body looks to be in much better condition than mine so it was an offer I could not refuse. The problem now is what do I do with my original car. I cannot keep both, so do I try to sell it or rob it of all the good stuff and break it?

Congratulations! You know when these cars have gotten under your skin when you find that you've bought a 2nd wedge. The attrition rate for these cars is still very high so it would be better if both could remain on the road. But a wedge on the road is worth 2 in the shed so weigh up the needs & wants then ask the wife. [:)]

Strip it of absolutly everything as it will be the bit you didn't remove that breaks first on your new car [:D]

I did something similar, but restored the better body, built a
better car, & later sold the old car as a registered reasonable car.
I received more than a little hostility from the little lady for a
while, but when it was a better car than the old one, & that was
sold, this disappeared. She now quite likes the car, & the weekend
trips we do.
This may not be the case if she realised how much I have spent on
it, with continual improvements, but spread over 9 years, it's
nothing like the depreciation on her modern, in 4 years.
