Hi Guys
it is a relief to have the site again.
Thank you clay for the e-mail i tought i lost you all.

The question??
I have seen these small clear filter tubes on the market.
I thought of installing one of them in the engine bay on my EFI 2.0???
as well as leaving the one next to the fuel pump in the back.

I will be cleaning the tank next week and wanted to make sure that from now on I would have the ability to see the fuel going in to the injectors.

What say you

My car is carbed not injected, but I have a see-thru filter before my fuel pump. I like to see when its getting dirty.

The clear fuel filters are for low pressure carb systems. They won't hold up to 34lb. high pressure FI systems. Although they might hold up under low pressure side (after regulator) you wouldn't want to restrict the fuel flow as it must constantly circulate to keep the fuel pump cool so it doesn't burn out.

I still have a few left(sorry I'm going to need them) but they were made by Mann/Mahle I believe....They were only a buck or two when I got them 4 years ago at CarQuest.

You have a brand and model of a clear fuel filter we can use on an EFI ???
Give up the name Man /number/etc.etc.etc.
Cool[:D]
How ABout This ??
place an extra filter and installing a transparent high pressure hose to the fuel regulator???
This would give me an extra filter and I can see the fuel???
Or will this lower the fuel pressure to much??
