Collected my DHC tonight - Inca yellow.

The car was a half-finished project that I bought a few years ago, and it's been desparate to be painted for a while to move it a long a little.

Anyhow, an opportunity turned up, and as you can see, it's now got a new coat.











Still have to go back and collect the other bits.

BTW I like the Land Rover as well. I have the same combo of vehicles in my yard at the moment. [:D]

After "hitting the wall" with my little project yesterday, you've just made me realise how bad things could actually be! only kidding [:D]

Well it's a solid base now. But it's got more patches than Joseph's coat. Someone had done lots of welding, replaced panels, then gave up when they found all the other welding that it needed once the rear axle was out.

So I did a fair bit of welding after I got it, plus the dreaded underside scraping, stonechipping etc. It's one of those projects I kept going back to. Just worked out, I've had it seven years now! I think progress has been slow as DHCs aren't my favourite - or that could just be a convenient excuse!

It's a perfectly 'useable' standard, nothing more really. I've got a 3.5 V8 to go in this one.
