On the brackets that bolt to the axle (5 speed) there are little rubber bump stops that resist the rear arms, where can these be bought, can't see the part on the Rimmers diagram, or is it just a case of fitting a generic rubber grommet ?

rear bumpstops S&S have them about a fiver each I think plus the dreaded
ukc6729 rear bump stop (late)

I believe Ted (TSI) offers those in urethane. Of course the shipping.

Paul,

S&S sell the original black rubbers ones and most likely the poly ones if not. Robsport sell the poly ones save you paying for shipping cost from across the pond.

Just got a pair of these, wrong ones, although I will use them at a later date, these are the ones that fit in the chassis leg to stop the upward movement of the arm, the ones I am after are the red ones in Beans picture.

So a quick call to Robsport and a pair on the way.

That's part of the bracket, it's welded onto it.
All brackets I have lying around have these.

There are also two types of bracket, one has a large hole to accept the bump stop and one has a very small hole, my car strangely had one of each , the new poly bump stops only fit the larger hole.

I think Robsport have the brackets cos he asked me if I neede them, I would think they are easily made.

Been asked to point out that I did not order the bump stops that came wrong from S&S, I simply ordered the part number quoted from the Rimmers website.

I hope no-one read into the above thread that S&S had supplied the wrong part.
