Hi,

Anyone had any experience of these? i'm interested in quality and longevity, ride comfort isn't too much of an issue but don't want them to be too soft!

Cheers,

Rob.

Don't know about the kit from Rimmer's,
but go for one of the known brands like;
• Polybush;
• Superflex;
• SuperPro;
They all do kits for TR7 and they are an improvement over the original rubber bushes (ride and longevity)

The Rimmers blue ones are significantly softer than the uprated rubber ones therefore, offers no benefit. I returned them and brought some from S&S, these are much better both in terms of hardness and quality. One point also, is the good customer service I got from Rimmers (Thought it was worth a mention).

The coloured ones come in various hardnesses. Visit web sites of manufacturers Beans suggested. The black ones you get from North American suppliers are hardest. I installed the black stuff in front end except for orange crossmember bushes (from UK) to keep steering and front suspension as tight as possible. I am debating whether to put coloured in the rear or go with black at one end of links and rubber in the other ( necessary with black poly to keep noise transmission from drive train isolated from body.) The exception will be black in rear springs as that is not as critical.
