Hello,

I have a very annoying small oil leak from the pulley, i have changed the oil seal but after a journey i have oil in the bay.

I check the oil regularly and all seems ok with the level.

Final question with the pulley off should i be able to see the oil thrower inside the timing cover? if not fitted do you think this could be the cause.

Thnaks for you suggestions Higgie

With the main pulley off you would not be able to see the oil thrower as the oil seal in the timing chain cover would block your view. This is the oil seal you changed wasn't it?

Check the pulley for scoring, that's the usual culprit not the oil seal.
