So many of us have brought our Triumphs up to the level that should have been produced by BL.

There is one reason why this Forum and our cars survive. We believe in our cars! After listening to this video, it is obvious that the production workers (and management, see video link below) never did believe in the TR7s.

I have watched other manufacturing plants over my years of working in them. When the plant workers believe in the product, they find a way to make the product right. Those beliefs and efforts were missing at the Speke plant.

Funny though, my Speke built car is still literally rust-free and, other than normal wear and tear is holding together very well after 35 years. Mind you it is one of the first 1000 built and the QC inspectors probably outnumbered the workers in that first month of production!
