Good Morning!
Wanted to share these with you. It's amazing what a little elbow grease and lots of Meguiars products can do. My microfiber towels were horrid looking, and I broke 3 nails, but the dash looks really good (if I do say so myself!)Here's a before/after A few other pix (I like to take photos [:I]) are here:

Beastie was fumigated--We counted upwards of 20 dead spiders including 7 black widows(Eeewww! Scary and gross!) around the perimeter of the car.[:0] I'm sure more corpses are in the car and the engine bay. Will be cleaning up carpet and engine compartment soon. Then, my vertical learning curve education in TR7 mechanics begins! [:D][8D]

Wow! Great job, Monica. It cleaned up nicely. Maybe my car's dash will look as good once it is uncovered for the season. I hope all the black widow spiders are dead (ICK). Or perhaps a new nickname for the TR7 Spider you already own.

I heard a story once about old landrovers.... All old land rovers had "lucky spiders" factory fitted as a stadard accessory, mine included. Legend has it that if all the spiders dissapear then it's due for a break down! i wonder if that applies to all BL products? Perhaps you should keep a few live ones in there? you know, just in case[;)]

There was another story about land rovers panel gaps but this is a TR7 forum........

Yup...I've always said. Hey, the nails will grow back but the clean dash will shine for longer. Great job. Soon you will have the last two special edition TR7's on the road.

That is the most dramatic before & after example since Michael Jackson turned white.

Strangely enough never ever had a spider inside one of my TR7's ...

... which can't be said of my Little Landy, despite not being very old (2004) it usually is full of spiders.

Reminds me while driving to a diner with a friend (she hates spiders of course) when there suddenly was a scream from her.
A spider thought it quite convenient to come down from the sunvisor, right in front of her face ...

Since then she drives in her car [:D]

After removing almost 8 years of accumulated dust/grime from the dash, it is evident that both the TR7 badge and 30th Anniversary plaque will need to be replaced. The Anniv badge is badly faded and one could barely make out the colors; even the wording is difficult to decode. I have seen the TR7 decal in the catalog from Rimmers, but not the Anniversary one. Any ideas where I can find one? Yes, yes... I have bigger fish to fry with this car, but at some point I will need a source for the Anniv badge. I know somebody on this forum will have an answer. The car is starting to look great! But don't you hate it when you break a nail! I know that I do! Worst yet, getting all that grease under them!

I have never been much of a fan of real live spiders[:0]!

Work for Meguiars?! I wish--at least then my products would be free or at a discount! Heehee. Nah, it's just the brand I hear the guys in the club mention, so that's what I stocked up on. If they make it; I bought it[:I].

Clara, broken nails/grease under nails is a small price to pay...besides, a nice bright shade of red polish hides the grease and makes even stubby nails look better! [:D] My Subhubs are READY to go! Unfortunately, the weather isn't quite cooperating. [:(]
