I am forbidden from buying any more car parts for a while so I used major willpower to avoid buying anything from the Rimmer's flyer.
Unfortunately SWMBO was home today when a very heavy E-bay box arrived full of TR brake parts-Whoops![B)]

I got the email. Need a new waterpump but the shipping would likely kill the deal.[:(] Some of the 5spd bits would be tempting to add to my collection.

At the British Invasion weekend in Stowe, VT, a couple of years ago, Rimmers had a booth at which they took down addresses, saying they were going to set up a US operation. I left contact information but never heard from them.
We have suppliers who carry some TR-7/8 parts, but no one who really focuses on these cars as parts vendors. It would be nice if they were to look again at a US presence.

Last September at The British invasion I gave the Rimmers rep my contact info, and so far I have received numerous emails and a couple of printed items. I'll have to see what's in the mail when I arrive home on Saturday. Of course I am hoping I will need nothing once spring arrives and the car goes back on the road.[:D]

X2!! No one over here carries the range of Wedge parts that Rimmer does. Jeff, I could be mistaken but I seem to remember they were offering to bring preplaced orders to Stowe for pickup. I also remember talk of setting up a warehouse or shipping point in the US. I doubt they would do well to butt heads with Moss & others for TR6, MGB and other popular car parts. But I would think they could do a fair bussiness on Wedge parts and Rover V8. The MGB guys with V8 conversions would be a market too. I mean who would be thier competition...Victoria British?? They sure wouldn't be hard to beat!

I desparately need a pair of black door cards myself and the Rimmers' sale price can't be beat but, for once, I have managed to resist and keep my credit card in my pocket. If SWMBO saw another big box arrive that would be the end of me![:0]
I wish there was a way to have parcels arrive on her work days!
