I would like to be the first to send congrats to our fellow Wedgehead Monica on the new addition to her family. It's always cool to get X-mas gifts in February, right Mon.[:D] Pics please. Cheers, Scott

Hi, Everyone!
Finally...after what seemed like an eternity...The Beastie was trailered to its new, legal, and loving home today! Hooray! I am absolutely thrilled[8D]

I made a premature posting about this car back in early December. I thought it would be a straightforward sale, but found that there were issues with the title, legal owner, etc[:(!]. After much patience (haha[:p]) private investigating, waiting, visits to the DMV, waiting, meeting with prior owner, waiting, phone calls with police, waiting, and support/advice from several of you (hugs and smooches to Obi, Reno,Juan, Clay, Frank, Wedgwa [:X] ) the car is mine! Oh, did I mention waiting?

Here are a few pix. I undoubtedly will have many questions on the journey with The Beastie. I'm counting on your expertise to help along the way; the folks on this forum have always been kind and quick to lend a hand. I am sure you will make this experience a fantastic one! Thanks for being such an awesome group![:D]
PS-Here's hoping the Spidey doesn't get jealous! --Monica

A 30th Anniversary by any chance? You'll need to get a set of original Dave Keepax TR7 alloys for that!

Congratulations Monica!

I kept wondering if you had purchased the car. It looks very nice indeed.

Yes Dave, I bought a set of 5 spoke compomotives from Brian (TRIUMPH-TR7) towards the end of last year that he had advertised in parts. They have a nice deep dish that I like.

Yes, Monica,

You do have a 30th Anniversary car, but the original wheels were gray steel with chrome wheel rings. I didn't know what I had when I got mine and replaced them with Panasports.

Have fun with the car!
