Has anyone else received the wonderful government respose to the petition regarding the scrappage scheme and classics? Usual drivel, misses the point completely and just majors on how they have to tax the motorist excessively as they are an easy target and they need the money to pay for other things (like their gold plated pensions!).

Yeah, I got one today also. Usual old political garbage. If it's not a big vote winner for the election then it wont happen, & i'm afraid the few classic car owners who would benefit aren't a large enough group to count.
