I also think your current wheels are nicer even if more common. Don't like the Porsche wheels but it's for you not for us.

Totally Cobber, you share my thoughts on the matter but I decided to 'play nice' with my original reply. [:)]

To back up this theory, a guy I know from the Ducati Club here sold his and bought a 911 for track days etc, went to <b>a </b> Porsche club meeting and let us all know that "you meet a much better class of person in the Porsche club" ................ yeah right, more like a higher level of tosser we reckoned, (and it still holds true when we see most of them at tarmac rallies - seem to relate to the I drive a Porsche so I <i>must </i> be quick syndrome!)

Anyway, as a footnote, the guy in question, first time he took his 911 out to the track it lunched the engine on the main straight - V. expensive!

So wouldn't be going out of my way to be associated with them.

Reminds me of the time we went to see an hgautocross in Kelowna one evening, one of the slowest cars was a Porsche Boxster, kept taking out the cones, couldn't beat some kid in his Mom's 4 door Toyota beater. Porbably a lot to do with driver but it must have been vary embarassing equaled only by some Mitsubishi with a high wing and ultra low profile tires. Just couldn't turn.[:o)]
