I have MGF wheels and they fit fine I think IT depends on tyre size 195 are ok above that I think you start to get problems

I have standard MGF 15" alloys on my TR7 with 185 on the front and 205 on the rear. They fit fine without spacers but you will need to get the MGF wheel nuts as they are tapered while the standard TR7 alloy wheel nuts are not. You can get them at Robsport (and other places) but they are quite pricey, can't remember exactly how much, about £40 maybe but they sold me a secondhand set of nuts for about £25.

Cheers!

My car has MG TF V spokes and I didn't have spacers on mine

With 195 tyres I have heard this before that you had to fit spacers

I now have 6mm spacers and the reason for this is to fill the arches a wee bit more .

A smaller offset than the orginal 25mm will push the wheel away from the suspension and further outwards.

Have a play about with different sizes and it will start to make some sense [:)]. I think [;)].
