i meant that you use the same dimensions of the tubing as a homologated rollcage (if you want that the roll over bar has adequate strength),
it should be anchored to a place where multiple bodywork panels meet together so the load is distributed instead of pulling out a single panel.
tube should be welded to a thicker plate first,
then the plate welded to the bodywork panels so that in a case of a roll over the tube doesn't just penetrate the bodywork panel.
and a rear braces are required so that the roll over bar doesnt just fold down under load , you want a "tent like" structure
