Down and out without a TR7

Sigh... Sold my TR7 about a year ago and I'm still without one! Problem is I've got so many unfinished projects at home I've got to finish at least one before I can move on to a TR7. Been seeing a lot of them on our Craigslist over here.. from non-running, package deals (2 for 1), to real nice runners. I'm chomping at the bit and not sure how much longer I can hold out. Maybe if I just picked up a non-runner for a couple hundred... Just so I could have it in the shop to tinker on every once in awhile.. maybe that would give me the fix I need for now. I'm definitely motivated to get my '55 Buick done and sold so I can buy a couple nice Brit runners. Oh for the love-ah.. I just can't justify a purchase right before the holidays so this website will have to do for now. Just wanted to share!

Everytime i get one, I end up needing to sell for $$. Earlier this year I found one on craigslist for 4 or 5 hundred bucks. Needed an engine but is solid and rust free. Called a friend up north and got me a good running engine for $1000.00 All total I spent around 1700.00 to get her road worthy and dependable. Be patient, the deals are out there. Craigslist is a good place to watch.

Im the opposite......I have a TR8 coupe that would be a nice driver but no interest in it. I would rather finish my other TR8 coupe....I feel your pain!

I'm the opposite as well. Got the Spider, a higher milage all original in very good shape, but had the opportunity to buy a low milage DHC with no rust but for spare wheel well drain holes and small hole in drivers B pillar for $100. So the dailey drivers sit outside one in the rain and the wife shaking her head. Too many non car projects on the table to get serious on it yet but hopefully soon.

I really need to get to work on my MGB and get back into the fiberglass parts, but that wedge keeps sneaking into my "schedule".
Wish I had your issues!
