A Sad Day

Today was the last day of driving my Spider this year as I went to pick up Thanksgiving odds and ends, burn down the gas in the tank before I start the winter projects. My wife asked if I was sad driving it back (smartass question). I said I had a tear in my eye like when years ago I sent my highschool girlfriend off to college (smartass answer.).[:o)]

Now it's time to drop the rear end, POR-15 it, check the tank and change the fuel pump and filter and change the high pressure fuel lines. Then it's on to fix the leak in the brass tank.

The rain is coming Tuesday so winter is about to start I'm afraid after a glorious summer of blue skies and sun except for a few days here and there.

If it is broken then fix it....if it is not then make it faster!"

It is finally cool enough to drive mine here in the Arizona desert.

I heard they had 17 inches of snow over the weekend in Wyoming where I grew up (now you understand why I now live in Arizona).

I just crawled out from under the 7, where I'd been measuring the
rear suspensions bushes for Peter.

I took my shirt off, & threw it into the washing, not because it was
dirty, but because it was wringing wet, with sweat. It was all ready
28C at 10 AM this morning. I hope Peter appriciates this.

I certainly won't be able to go topless when I'm topless, without
getting sunburned for 6 months now.

I promise I'll think of you, when I'm out driving.

Absolutely I do!

I promise a free ride in my 7 for every snowbird from the frozen North who appears on my door this Summer - which starts in about 3 weeks. Bring some parts!
