Stumbled on this by accident.
This is an insight into attitudes to the TR7 from the "general public" perhaps one explanation why they are worth so little.

I come on this thread to learn about the TR7. They all say its junk, but dont explain why. Like those guys that hate the rolling stones, but dont give you any reason hey?

anything.
I am glad to share my pleasure in my stuff, with any one who is
interested in it, particularly my cars, & my yachts, when I had
them. Fortunately, however, nothing derogatory, they think, or say
about my choices, has any effect on my enjoyment of them.
From what I see here, I think most of you share that confidence in
your own choices with me, as well as your choice in cars.
I do, sometimes, feel slightly sorry, [but only slightly] for those
who lack the confidence to make their own decisions, & are thus
condemned to follow the leader all their lives.
