Flashing LED in the mirror

I notice that some of the newer cars have flashing orange LED's on the mirrors these days that are wired up to the indicators. Has anyone done this on the Tr's

Whenever I see indicators on the mirrors I'm reminded of the trafficators my mum's Ford Prefect used to have. Soon they will make the whole side of your car light up.

Woah there! the last thing you need is more electrical stuff on a TR7[:D].The mirror indicators do look blingin though it is one more thing to get knocked off in traffic[:(].The things I miss from my daily driver on the 7 are remote central locking, power windows and aircon.[8D]

The locking I can reach from drivers seat, same for windows, Air I have but don't need/use as there's no freon. What I do miss is cruise control for those long highway stretches. Might install it some day.

Yep the windows and the doors you can get from all the main suppliers and even on ebay if you want to mess arond to get the to fit our 7's.

If you go to car builders solutions there is an air con unit on there you can get, but I know it costs a bit. That is the only universal one I know of though. The unit also replaces the old heater we have, so may be good if you want to save space and weight.

I also know that cruse control is out there, but sure it costs a arm and a leg lol.

Also we can get the reversing sensors/camera to fit on out cars. May even be able to drag them out of the 70's/80's. Wow I bet a few people are going to comment about that.[:D]

My car has all three items; remote central locking, power windows and alarm kit were bought as a set from Moss - and AC was an oem delivery... Should be easy to find second hand I guess.

Only costs a little over $100. You can pick it up from Amazon and lots on eBay. It was posted a while back, common name.

You are one of the lucky ones lol.
I tried to get this set from robsport, but when I got round to buy the remote control unit, they had all gone and I could not get one for love or money. So not I have the central locking kit and boot release kit, but need to get the central locking of ebay [:D]

I bought a door locking kit from ebay, i think it was about £35 and has worked well so far, its also hooked up to my alarm for the remote entry.

I have only got a drivers side peep mirror so no room for LED's!

Of all the "modern" conveniences I miss having remote adjustable mirrors most. I can adjust them properly but then they get bumped into and I have to do it all over again.

I wish I could find a remote mirror that looked right on the car.

Good grief - you're all mad! The joy of this car is that it DOESN'T have all that junk fitted! Back to basics!

I have to agree with with bmcecosse. I like these cars for what they are, plus what's the point of central locking in a tiny two door car with a soft top?
