Tyres 205/60 on 14" Wheels ?

Hi,

Has anyone experience of running 205/60/14's on their 7 or 8?

I have 195/60/14's and the Falken tyres are well planted on the road. I saw a 205/60/14's alloy / tyre combination which would give a real muscle car look, unlike the same width in 50 profile 15" on my Golf. I'm sorry but I have no info on the offset of the wheels.

My uprated suspension is lowered by one inch. I know someone who had issues when their similar front suspension bottomed out with the same tyres and the tyres only just rubbed the arches. Has anyone else run into arch clearance issues with this tyre size?

Thanks

Adam
