Breaking a Car

Postby Shauniedawn » 14 Sep 2009 19:57

Hiya.

I'm off work for the next couple of weeks, and I've promised the wife that I'm going to get rid of one of my spares cars. This realistically won't be hapenning until next week though.

I do intend to keep some parts (that's why I bought it after all!!), but other stuff will be up for sale. So if you need anything in particular, please just message me from here or text me on 07976 294 908 - you never know, I might just have what you are after!

The car has a good engine and gearbox. The head was renewed a few years ago, and the motor had a new water pump. I would sell the engine as a lump for convenience, but will break if no one is interested.

Cheers,

Shaun.

It's a FHC with sunrooof with a green interior/black dash.

I have a few DHC bits too.

Wing - crusty wheelarch, don't know about the inner. Depends how bad yours is i suppose.

Lower TCAs - no problem

Subframe - think it's good, but need to check when I get it out.

Hiya Tony.

Re the interior.

I've not totally decided what I'm keeping out of the interior yet. I may keep seats and door cards. I need to check what the other green set is like that I have in another car first.

From memory the headcloth is very good. The carpet damp, but would need a vax to assess its true condition.

Rear shelf vinyl lifting as per normal.

Don't know about the rear bulkhead trim.

Dash very good as I recall.

Photo's wouldn't be a problem once I get onto doing it.

Thanks for asking.

Shaun.

Since this forum doesn't have a "trader rating" add-on ,

all i wanted to say is that I want commend Shaun as a trader here on the forum , I've bought those front track arms from him, the price was more than low, i even nagged the hell out of him with shipping arrangements. Parts arrived neatly packed.

I would buy from him in the future. [:)]
