Hi Dave,

How come your gauge doesn't work? Is it a bad gauge or the sender, or the wiring? I think I would try to find out what was bad and fix that rather than install a whole new gauge, sender and all.

hi,
bought a TIM gauge which works fine same with either supplied or original sender. both i have tr7 gauges just go str8 to the right no matter which sender i use. so sucess of a sort!

Dave, if you are testing the TR7 gauges in the existing pod, and the tim gauge isn`t, then it may well be the printed circuit on the back of the instrument pod.

Have you tried taking the wires directly from the TR7 gauge to the sender, bypassing the circuit board? You may find this solves the problem.

hi,
yes ive tried wiring directly to a spare tr7 and an old jag
gauge and just goes str8 to the right with both.
frustrating but at least tim gauge works
