Rear fogs - the law versus your opinions.

<font face="Comic Sans MS"><font size="2"><font color="blue">My FHC is (I believe) a 1977 model - I'm awaiting the V5 back from DVLA to confirm this. My question here is: does this early type model need rear fogs by law?
If so, I'd like to gauge opinion. The car has what I believe is a Viper bodykit (I didn't fit it but reckon it looks the business). From the back it looks like this:
but there is no natural place to locate any fogs. I was thinking of trying to locate them either next to either side of the number plate or under the bodykit. Both would spoil the aesthetics and look pants, but if the law is the law then they gotta go smewhere. Another option is to adapt one of the reverse lights.
Does anybody have any thoughts or pictures they'd care to share with me because I'd be very interested.
