Picking new purchase up soon - or should i get a flatbed to collect?

Hi,
A couple of weeks time there is a Triumph Dolomite run to Brighton, meet them there, spend the day with them and then drive back with them!!! (well some of the way) Saftey in numbers [;)] OR Join the AA and 'break down' get recovered home [;)]

Whatever car you take, by the time you get there (that is, IF you get there) the car will be fixed. [:D]

thanks to all the replies. i collected my new toy this morning, and leaving sussex at 2pm, got back around 7:30. naturally, had to stop to take the lid off....

5 +/- hours, troublefree. acceleration a little lumpy and uneven, possibly due to car being stood?

Welcome to Wedge ownership.
If the car stood for a while, it is best to give it a very thorough service [;)]
