hi guys, just wondered how easy it was to remove the quarter glass windows as mine ar fiarly scrathed and am looking at getting a pair when i see some, i presume once door cards are removed, that they are bolted to the inside door frame?

Thanks for any help as always

I think there is a screw at the top of the the door you need to loosen in order to get at it.

You are quite right there Steve [;)]
In a nut shell ...

To start with you indeed have to remove the complete quarter-light-frame.

For that you need to remove the door trim and the side window, thus giving access to the mounting bolts (2 per side) and nuts (1 per side) if I remember correctly.

After that pull out the frame, drill out two pop rivets holding the base plate in place and remove quarter light with its seal ...

There are three bolts and one nut that hold the frame in place.

Remove door card, remove the window winder, remove the window.

Remove the window stop. Remove the nut up high on the inside hinge side of the door, remove the bolt on the outside of the door just above the hinge. Remove the two bolts holding the frame to the inside of the door around the window winder area. Slide the window frame up and tilt to the back to clear the front edge of the frame from the door.

Rotate the frame so that the upper bracket on the back post can clear the opening for the side grass. Remove the frame.
