Finally fitted ODD's LED's for the instrument pod cool what a difference one little tip to pull the old light lamps out wrap some either masking tape or duck tape round the bulb and wiggle and pull them out don't use pliers [:D]

Now what abot the centre console lamps above the radio are there any LED replacements for those

- and need to shine at 90 degrees to the axis... No such thing to be had anywhere I'm afraid.

Nice to read you're satisfied with the instrument lighting.

I soldered bright white LED's onto the curved metal shield that normally shrouds the filament bulb. I oriented them in such a way that they shine through the green lens to illuminate the heater controls. Took a couple of hours and a few pennies worth of LED's & resistiors from Maplins. These were the least reliable instrument lights on the TR7. I think the bulb heating and cooling makes them "Walk" out of the threaded holder

But if you want to know about LEDs' - Ask Steve_a - He's done a great job on his dash & rearlight clusters
