Met the Nanaimo contingent at Tim Horton's in Mill Bay and continued down to Beacon Hill Park in Victoria. I was the only TR7 there so got lots of attention as:

It was the only TR7 there.
It's the only Spider they ever seen.
It's the only TR7 with FI they ever seen.

the weather was good, the cricket players were on the pitch, and everything was great except for the Rolls Royce owner that backed his car into a tree after eshewing the help of Morgan owners....oops.

Link below is slide show of some pics of cars, the park and the nicely dented Rolls.

Great pics. Did that RR really back into the tree? Was it the owner or the chauffer who was driving?

The thing I don't get with zoos is why they leave the poor animals in there & let the horrible kids out. [:)]

Never say die. At least not while you're still breathing.

He really did back into the tree. He must have felt really stupid but not as stupid as when he gets the bill.

Speaking of horrible kids, that's why the peacock was running because one of those kids was chasing it.

yet again great pics from out west, thanks for sharing FI !

One thing I really enjoy most out of the british shows are the odd balls.....there's allways something you've never seen before!!
The Nippy and Snark look fantastic, really starting to dig the Landies and bikes too......but my true love is still the Minis (there will definately be one in my stable one day....and you can bet it will be a variation like a Riley or Austin

Ron.

FI,
Nice shots! Thanks for sharing.
We had our local show here in Woodland recently with 300 British cars. I brought my 63 MGB, the TR7 not yet ready for prime time. I was hoping to see a nice FI TR7 (dream on) but instead found no TR7s and 3 TR8s. So little love for cars.

You're just a hop and a jump from where my Spider spent it's life (Stockton). Friends TR7 came from CA as well. That's why you don't see many sevens there, we Canadians go down there and bring them up. Sorry. [:I]
