Welcome Steph,

All good advice from the collected wisdom of the wedge world.

From this side of the pond the FHC of the white persuasion looks like a good take.

Have fun on your search and be sure to let us know what you finally buy.

Thats true, I like my everyday white FHC but I need the sunroof. Not sure about the vinyl roof, difficult to fit with the sunroof.

Been reflecting on my comments about white 7s. How can I when one of mine is old man gold [xx(].

But it's growing on me.

Looks stunning to me. The late model FHCs look good in any metallic colour IMO.

I agree with John, that,s a lovely looking car. I think the gold really suits the late cars. Mind you I'm about to hit 40 so all things with a hint of beige seem appealling!! [:)]

I passed the 40 mark a few years ago and still consider beige and gold on a wedge as having as much appeal as wearing Safari suits or sandles with long socks! [V]

I do think white FHC's can look hot. The one on Piston Heads at present looks great to my eye.

At least it's not a Buick! Over here when you hit the age where your hair is gray & you where a hat, they seem to assign a biege Buick 4dr for you to bumble about in.[;)]

Shaun, I love your car, but I WANT some of those mud flaps.

Where do they come from, please?

Hasbeen,

I have the same mud flaps on my car. I got them from Victoria British. Hope this helps.

As far as I know the ones on Shaun's car are the optional mud flaps as sold by Leyland, and now all the major TR7 specialists
