Get your insurance company involved NOW. They may get an injunction against the demolition company and allow you to remove your car before they destroy it.

Relax, all right? My old man is a television repairman, he's got this ultimate set of tools. I can fix it.

Aaron is right, there should be no reason why a team of experts shouldnt be brought in to remove valubales before the building is collapsed. Even if it means towing the thing out from a distance!!

Have the garage where your car is got their own insurance. They should have cover for whatever cars etc they're storing. If the worst happens It'll be the insurers health & safety bods who say the car can't be removed, so you should be able to negotiate with them a decent payout, probably more than your own car insurance will pay, & you wont lose your NCB.

I was going to suggest the same. If it were me, my friends and I woulda done so. There are ways around the danger. Keep your chin up, it'll work out.

This predicament is so unjust,Garry. As we all know, insurance co's are
happy to take an honest man's money, but they seldom want to pay out the
full amount,AND,they still want to put your premium up every year!
I agree with the guys above, try and get one of these responsible
insurers to earn their cash by actually doing something about this!
There must be specialist recovery co's who can be paid to do this.
That sister/brother wedge was in very good nick when i saw it at
Malvern this year,Gaz.Hopefully it wont come to it,but maybe two big
wedges will be keeping the little 'un company before long!

GOOD LUCK GAZZA,SHADOW MUST BE RESCUED.

See ya. Paul
