Jeez Frankman, I dunno about that black car, what's on the bonnet (hood)? a bloody anti-aircraft gun sight?
and those imitation wire wheel hub caps and wheel arch mouldings look like they've been stolen off a pimp's Caddy as for the badge and chrome mouldings on the flanks, they look like a yo-yo and it's string have been glued to the side of the car!
The chromed windscreen surround, quarter vent frame the luggage rack I can live with but I'm undecided on what appears to be chrome or stainless on the sills though. Otherwise that looks to be a nice car

The swage makes the usual side stripes problematic in my view. 2 big stripes up the middle & no-one will look at the sides again. [8D]

Guys, I managed to get a full LH side set of new old stock factory stripes, wing/door/rear quarter, I have left them with a graphics company today and they are going to let me have a price for complete new sets, both sides obviously. The company can do black, gold and silver or any other colour as well.

I will keep you informed of the price, I hope it isnt too high .

Cheers, Paul

Hey Paul

I may be interested in a set - might be cheaper to have two sets made and split the cost - depends on price, of course, and also how close they can get to the original

cheers

Dan, the initial cost is the dear one, I am sacrificing the new stripes as they will lay them onto a plastic backing and measure in detail to get the new ones as per original, once they have all this detail into the PC after that its just a case of pick your colour and cut a set out.

If I am happy with the quality and the match to original spec I will get some samples of silver/gold to send to people if required, black will be a gloss as per the new originals I have.

I considered having the stripe modified to state 'TR7V8' on the rear quarter in the same font as original.

All the best, Paul

Heard from the graphix company today, they can do the stripe kit for about £80, I have asked them to run one off for me to see how good it is, might take a week or two as they have a bit of work on and this is a one off.

Will let you know how it goes.

Cheers, Paul
