My best wishes to Simon and family. My own dad had a stroke a number of years back and although he has to make sure he lifts his right foot when he walks he still motors around Richmond on his scooter. He is 91. Living proof there is life after stroke.

Thank you for all the kind words guys, I know Simon will really appreciate it.
He has made great progress since I found him collapsed on our office floor on the Saturday morning before xmas, he has regained all his movement, his speech is back to normal. He is walking with the aid of a a frame at the moment but that should improve quickly now that he has had the ankle pinned which he fractured when he collapsed.

When I saw him the other day he was looking forward to getting back to work[:0][:D]so that's good sign

When I see him next I will pass on all your good wishes and I will keep you all informed of his progress.

Thanks again guys.

Steve

"When I saw him the other day he was looking forward to getting back to work so that's good sign."

A positive attitude is the best tool, and it sounds like he has the right tool for the job.

Speedy revcovery and best wishes.
