Perhaps time then to mention the Wilkinson Sword and Sheaffer cars. I also have somewhere a competition ad for a TR7 offered as a prize by Gillette Razors.

I have been thinking for a while now that it would be good to compile a list of "celeb" TR7/8's. just by Registration Number.

Exact criteria for inclusion would be difficult but I was thinking of vehicles that have factory/press/magazine connections, competition prizes, celeb owners/drivers, motorsport etc.. Anything that has led a less that ordinary existance.

There are quite a few cars who's survival has been helped or may be helped by an unusual or interesting history. I don't have time for this but maybe this could be a new "sticky" or something where people could enter a few details of cars they know of.. like NOF610R, Hot Car Magazine Test Car Sept 1977.

What do you think?

3310$ (even after converting to CDN funds [;)]) seems to me like a heck of a good deal just the same .............

I didnt buy it although I wanted to. It would have saved me the job of restoring my car. The reason I stopped bidding was that too many people who I know were bidding, hope one of them bought the car. Not heard anything yet .

Chris.
The missing Coke car.
Someone mentioned it being abandoned at Seaforth Dock in Liverpool to me a while ago. Surely its not still lying around there.
