Well, the windscreen is an on going problem.
The bloke doing the job is great, you could not ask for better, but
I'm not too sure about his supplier.
As promised, he came back & fitted another new screen. Before he
fitted it we checked it out, looking through it, with it held at
different angles to the sun, & decided it was fine.
Well, after it was fitted it was not fine. We have decided the
problem is in the film, between the glass. When I drove it into a
setting sun, there was the cloudy effect, & it was there at night,
with oncomming head lights. Not too bad to use, but not too good.
Well, he rang me this afternoon to tell me he has another new
screen, this one made only this monday, & he checked it out, looking
into the setting sun yesterday afternoon. He's comming tomorrow
afternoon to fit it. I doubt he's made any money, this is the third
one he will have fitted. I hope his supplier is giving him some
compensation, as he has not asked me for any more money.
One advantage about living in the bush, most small business give
much better service than you get in the city.
That said, I sure hope I don't see this bloke again, any time soon,
I'm sick of windscreens.
