Yes Cobber & Peter, those are Simmonds. See my photos & you will see
them on the 8.

You will also see the Performance spoke wheels on the 7. I really
like them, as they are right in keeping with the era of the 7. They
were originally anodised, & I spent a couple of days sanding that
off all the high points, & polishing them.

Well, an old retired bloke has to have something to do.

That makes sense as the car was imported from Australia.

Hasbeen, any chance we can get you to develop your piccy pposting skills?

its great too see such a great range of different wheels
and how much they change the cars looks.
of all the people who have posted pics on this thread are they the wheels you want on your car or are others in the pipe-line you wish too own.
as I said earlier in thread I want a set of Wolfrace Turbo's see next pic. when the fund become available....
Image

Although this is the only pic of my car I can find with the original wheels and trims I still quite like them even though theres only one trim on it.....

It rides again..... and again wehey!!!!!!!

Hey Guys
The Simmons wheel company is no longer.
They were a three piece rim. The centers you can't get.
The inner rims and the outer rims you can still get.
There's a place in Lilydale Melbourne (eastern wheelworks) that have spun up a set of outers for the set of OM 16"s that i have for the 7.
The good thing about these rims is that you can get them made to suit once you have the centers.[:)]

Owning an English car is like looking after a small child. They require constant attention, leak everywhere and as soon as your back is turned your wallet gets flushed down the toilet.
