I'm with PeterTR7V8 on this one - all done in body colour for me, (but def not the bumpers!)

The jury is out on the black vs body colour then [:)].I think now reading the posts and seeing the pics of other cars that body colour is nice for the rear panel however black is best for the easy repair reason and sleeker look on the the lower portions.I have undersealed my car and in an effort to keep rust at bay(didn't have any don't want any) over painted my sills with the black stone chip matt paint.I had forgotten actualy that my own car is wearing wrong position decals btw.I did not apply them and the rectification is on my list. The blue car is a real mix of eras and parts eh[:I].I can't help wondering though....never mind the TR how much for the bentley[:D].

Sorry, but black cars are a pain! When I bought my first black car, (Mk2 RS2000), I vowed to never have another one, when I bought my second one, (Mk1 Astra GTE), I remembered why and haven't had one since! [:)]

Yes, black cars do look nice
when freshly washed and polished. (And if you don't have to sit in it in the sun...)

But we all know what was said in India about the midday sun, mad dogs and Englishmen - no wonder they didn't think of fitting air conditioning...
For the record: I currently hate this car. How ever much light you shine on it - it's a Black Hole to work with it, it just soaks up the light...

Au contrare...Black reflects sunlight like no other, even a polished dusty car. As the sun goes across the sky and you get different wave lengths you get many different colour light reflections the most interesting in the evenings when the light reflected is a thousand different shades then at night where the neon lights of the city reflect into patterns like some abstact art of an yet to be discovered artist. It's like the Grand Canyon where the same view changes by the minute as the sun travels acrossed the sky and clouds filter the ever changing vista.
