Do you stroke your TR7 when you walk past it?

You do that too? I caress the top corner of the windscreen or pat the front wing every time I walk by. Is that so wrong? [:D]

Of course you're mad Monica, but only if you don't get that car. I
bought my present car, & another parts car, because the offer was
too good to refuse. The 7 I was driving was pretty good, but I
wanted better.

It was a long haul, building a car out of the better bits, even if
the good one had no rust, but I ended up with a really good 7,
which has been my daily driver, & my pride & joy, for over 7 years.

Follow your heart, all you have to lose is a little money.

Nuts? We're all nuts. Nothing wrong with a bit of passion over your favourite car.

My father-in-law always says "a bird can't fly on one wing" but I'm sure he is referring to drinks. Close enough though. [:)]

Just a quick update...
After what seemed like an eternity, I spoke with my car guy, Rick. Rick checked out the car and seemed impressed with its overall condition given the fact that it was "discarded" in the barn/shed. He gave me the green light.[^]His opinion, like yours, matters to me.

Yes, like Croydebay and Spectatohead, I am addicted and smitten with my current car. When I walk by I gently glide my fingertips from the end of the boot up to the mirror. If I am feeling especially playful, I slide the antenna up and down a few times. [;)]LOL.

Merv and AndyF, the wheels (I have been told) are American Racing. I actually received an offer from a guy that will purchase them for more than what I am paying for the whole car![8D]I'm not too sure about the steering wheel...once the car is in my possession, I will take a look and click a few more pix to share.

Now that Christmas Break has begun, I will have time to finalize getting a title for this little beastie. Once I have that, it's onto the trailer and into 1 of 3 possible homes--all roomy, enclosed, dry, and within 6 miles of me[:)]. I am blessed with wonderful Subhubs who are always ready and willing to help--Bonus, 2 are mechanically inclined!

"Follow your heart, all you have to lose is a little money." Aaaawwww, Hasbeen. Love that! You made my heart smile. [:X]

Thank you all for your input and opinions. You make this forum the best place for a novice like me to turn to. Thanks, Everyone! I'll keep you posted. Of course, please be on the lookout for questions as I am sure there will be many--Monica
