A guy I know has just bought a new Vauxhall Agila (the smallest Vauxhall nee' Suzuki, IIRC) for £3000 less that full price without the scrappage incentive. Just goes to show that scrappage is a bit of a scam - the discount is already available if you 'push'.

Can these cars be used in demolition derbys? Those big wedge bumpers ought to wreak a bit of havoc on those old Jappas & at least they would die in style. [:)]

yeah certainly the way it works over here, the recyclers even have to inject a silica gel into the engine and seize the motor so it can-not be re-used.
