Vintage Shelby's 6 x 13 pulled off a Sunbeam Tiger on the white car. Panasport 7 x 13 on the green car.

Someone referenced this topic, so it's time to revive!

Ok, they are not actually on the car, but they have been bought and the mods to the front end to make them fit (PCD is 4 x 114.3) have been started (SD1 struts, Datsun 200b hubs, Cressida vented discs, coil-over conversion)...

Rota RB-R (or RB-X in Oz) 17 x 9, 17 x 9.5

May need these size flares to cover them:

I own three cars with all having different wheels.

This car looks no where like this now, but I do still own after it was destroyed in a softball hailstorm 20 years ago. I changed this to Ford four lug pattern.

This car I was working on and it now in primer, but I found a better car below.

I bought this car a couple of months ago and haven't really gotten started with it yet.

I'm kind of digging that targa look. Just what Harris Mann designed!

My father and I built this car back when I was in high school 30 years ago. I took the targa top from a Porsche 914 and we cut it down in width a few inches and welded in all of the 914 mounting pieces on both ends.

It was a awesome car for my college years. We had also put in a Ford V6, power brakes and Ford Mustang rear end under the car.

Unfortunately, it was destroyed in a softball size hail storm close to 20 years ago. I still own it and have saved it for parts.

I grew up a teen of the 80's and couldn't afford a targa Ferrari like Magnum PI, so we built what I could afford. :D

Have you got any pictures of the Targa car now?

I'd like to see a Targa top made up from a Mercury grafted on like Mann's original sketch. (Nothing's impossible given enough time and money). The factory traga would have been really interesting too.

I thought of making the rear window removable like the 71 or about then Corvettes, wouldn't be too much work...

I have a couple and it is really in a sad state after all these years sitting and rotting.

I have considered buying another FHC and grafting the parts onto it. I think I could do around the windows much better now by using DHC doors and windows.

No.. I had the front hubs re-drilled to the Ford 4-lug pattern and I had changed the rear end to a Ford 4-lug out of a Mustang or Pinto.

Ford 2.8 V6 from a Mercury Bobcat/Ford Pinto. I also changed out the master cylinder and brake booster to Ford.

The rear wasn't posi unfortunately. With the engine set back in the engine bay, this car was awesome to drive.
