One of our TR Register group is going again this year but he has (sorry) a TR6. He has spent a lot of money on it so look out for Dave Hamblin in "Thunderguts". Modern computerised ignition and injection etc etc etc. Probably cost him at least ten times what my TR7 is worth. Here they are parked side-by-side last weekend.

Hi Russ

I know Thunderguts, he's been the last few years, running EFI right?

Yes fully programmable electronic ignition and injection, no distributor. Bit of other engine work so it goes quite well.

I am!

First timers!

Can't quite remember our travel arrangements (I am abroad on business at the moment) but think an early morning crossing of the channel on Friday morning.

Hoping that there will be few TR7/8s taking part

Just checked and we are one hour later at 9:25.

Staying in Soissons as accommodation in Laon was fully booked.

Glad to know that we won't be the only Tr7/8 in the village!

I checked our sailing, I got it wrong, 09:25 is ours also.

Good job I was wrong in the right direction!

We'll see you in the boarding line-up.
