Per an earlier thread: Roadster Factory actually had the right type of original plastic snaps for holding down the convertible top - thanks to all who helped with suggestions! They'll look much better than the wide-flange metal replacement snaps that Victoria British and Rimmers sent me under the same part number. Now I just have to figure out how to deal with the 3 different-size holes left by the 3 snaps that have popped off so far. Apparently they were repaired with different-size rivets in the past based on what was available to the repairer. If I were really looking for a project I'd just drill all umpteen of them out and replace the bar they're attached to so that I could get back to the right 1/8 inch holes, but that's a project for another day.
