To celebrate I gave the car a wash and wax and reinstalled the carpets that were removed following last winter's leaks.
And sure enough...the ungrateful thing refused to start-Bugger!
An hour of troubleshooting finally led me to the starter relay. I tried a Bosch relay that I had in my toolbox but with that relay the started just kept running when the key was released.
I opened up the original relay and found a wite off one of the blades.
A spot of solder and it was back in action.
I sure am glad I do my own work. That little PITA would have set me back a couple of hundred dollars.
Cheers,
Rich
